We are seeking a versatile and highly organized INDIGENOUS Paralegal/Legal Secretary to support our legal practice.
This hybrid role requires a unique combination of substantive legal knowledge and exceptional administrative
execution.You will handle everything from preparing legal documents and conducting basic research to
managing court calendars, transcription, client reception and billing support. Able to draft up contracts,
wills and estates.
Transcribe dictations, proofread documents,and draft standard legal correspondence, pleadings and motions.
Format and electronically file (e-file) legal documents in accordance with local and federal court rules.
Qualifications:
2+years experience working as a legal secretary or assistant; exposure to substantive paralegal work is
highly preferred.
Microsoft Office(word, excel), Familiar with legal billing and case management.
Excellent typing and experience with legal transcriptions.
Preferred qualifications:
Legal Secretary certificate or Paralegal Certificate.
A Criminal Check will be required.
Rate of pay: $22.00 - $25.00 depending on experience.
Temporary which could lead to full time.
