Journeyman Carpenter - (rate same)
Project for 10 weeks
About the Position
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Journeyman Carpenter to join our team. The successful candidate will have experience in residential and/or commercial carpentry, a strong understanding of construction methods, and a commitment to quality workmanship and job-site safety.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and construction plans
- Perform framing, trim work, finish carpentry, and general construction tasks
- Measure, cut, shape, and install building materials
- Install doors, windows, cabinets, flooring, drywall, and other components as needed
- Safely operate hand and power tools
- Inspect completed work to ensure accuracy and quality
- Work independently and as part of a construction team
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
- Follow all company policies, safety regulations, and project specifications
Qualifications
- Journeyman-level carpentry experience
- Proven experience in residential, commercial, or industrial construction
- Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools accurately
- Proficiency with common carpentry tools and equipment
- Strong knowledge of construction materials and methods
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding work
- Commitment to safety, quality, and professionalism
